Where there is a will … There is a way!!!

Namaste Yoginis & Yogis …

What a difference a week makes … After playing virtual catch up, I’m on track, up and digitally running. It was challenging to see and experience just how much has changed, while I was isolated in India.

How do I insert myself into this new reality, how do I navigate these online waters when everyone else has established themselves, is there room for my offerings?

There were a few dark clouds for me last week. How do we get through these dark moments or the tough patches? How can we grow and even flourish in the face of adversity, grief, loss, confusion or a painful transition? We are human, and such experiences are inevitable along the way.

What do I do and where do I go when this kind of fear arises? Honestly, I dig deep into my spiritual toolkit and face the shadow of what has revealed itself head on. While it is uncomfortable, ultimately it is also illuminating, healing and beneficial.

I was speaking with Davidji yesterday and he asked “What are your biggest take aways from your Ashram lock-in?”

Acceptance ~ Trust ~ Faith ~ Surrender ~ Prayer

Life is the cosmic dance between friction and freedom. One informs the other and with that polishes our spirit to be more real and true. When we choose to live our lives fully, we are also choosing growth, it is within that growth, change reveals itself in a myriad of forms. How can we feel deeply while also remaining connected and willing to be of service? We allow humility in, we see our part of the puzzle, ask for support, show up for ourselves and others with a full expansive heart.

May we each learn to hear our intuition, so we may listen to the guidance from our spirit …

Last week was an opportunity to put into practice all that I had recently learnt and experienced in India. So, for a few days I meditated 2 – 3 times a day, I continued with my daily practice of chanting the Gayatri Mantra 108 times, I prayed for guidance, unrolled my mat and surrendered to the divine situation, built an altar, created a heart map. Then … once the muddy waters of my mind had settled, I got up and performed my duties whole heartedly, with vigour and enthusiasm.

We could link it to the Bhagavad Gita verse 2:48

yoga-sthaḥ kuru karmāṇi
sańgaḿ tyaktvā dhanañjaya
siddhy-asiddhyoḥ samo bhūtvā
samatvaḿ yoga ucyate

yoga-sthaḥ—being steadfast in yog; kuru—perform; karmāṇi—duties; saṅgam—attachment; tyaktvā—having abandoned; dhanañjaya—Arjun; siddhi-asiddhyoḥ—in success and failure; samaḥ—equipoised; bhūtvā—becoming; samatvam—equanimity; yogaḥ—Yog; uchyate—is called

Be steadfast in the performance of your duty, O Arjun, abandoning attachment to success and failure. Such equanimity is called Yoga.

So I put myself into my greatest shadow, fear of being filmed … logged on, pressed record and began a new chapter!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you … For tuning in and practicing fearlessness with me <3
